Recruitment

A Letter from our vp recruitment…

“As a first generation Greek, I had no idea what to expect from a sorority. I was welcomed by so many kind and exciting faces while I got my footing as an Alpha Chi Omega. I remember being 18 years old and scared, but even more excited to become part of a group of girls at SFA. I found my best friends in Alpha Chi, and I truly wouldn’t be who I am today without them. Being VP Recruitment means that I get to bring the warmth, kindness and acceptance that I have been able to find in Alpha Chi Omega to the girls coming through recruitment. My purpose as a leader in this chapter is to spread Alpha Chi’s love and help carry on the tradition of excellence here at SFA!

a letter from our vp recruitment information…

Dear Potential New Members,

My name is Juliann Boiles and I am the Vice President of Recruitment Information for Alpha Chi Omega. In alpha chi omega I have found the best friends and the best sisters through our incredible sisterhood.  Like they always say “it’s not just 4 years, it’s for life”, and I could not agree more. Alpha Chi Omega has helped me build confidence and pushed me to become the best version of myself. Our members strive for excellence by serving in organizations outside of Alpha Chi Omega in addition to putting our education first. The women in this chapter are loyal, genuine, and so excited to meet you.

Now that this is my last recruitment, I have really taken time to think back to 3 years ago whenever I first embarked on this journey here at SFA. It seems like just yesterday I was walking through those red doors of Alpha Chi for the first time. While I know recruitment can be a very nerve racking experience, finding your home is such a rewarding experience. I found my home at Alpha Chi Omega and I will be forever grateful for this sisterhood. Embrace this time of your life because it will fly by! The impact that Greek life will have on your life during college and beyond is so beneficial.

The women of Alpha Chi Omega cannot wait to meet you. We are so happy you choose to be a Lumberjack! Recruitment truly is a once in a lifetime experience and opportunity. Make sure to follow your heart and remain open minded throughout the process. I know that there is a home for you and if it is Alpha Chi Omega, I can’t wait to welcome you into our sisterhood.
